Dorothy Evelyn Bohr

Dorothy Evelyn Bohr, age 84, of Harrah, OK, was born on April 24, 1924, in Berrien Springs, Michigan. She was the daughter of Noah & Rebecca Prowant Stoner. Dorothy left this life on December 17, 2008, in Harrah, OK. On September 9, 1945, in Flint, Michigan, Dorothy married Harold Bohr and they spent 63 wonderful years together. She was a licensed practical nurse and taught English at River Platt College in South America. Dorothy had traveled to 26 countries on 4 continents. She was a member of the Summit Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church in Harrah, OK. Dorothy enjoyed painting, archeology and loved animals. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Survivors include her husband, Harold Bohr, Harrah, OK; son & daughter-in-law, Stephen & Aurora Bohr, Fresno, CA; 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Jeannine & Eliezer Castanon, Edmond, OK, Beccy & Greg Ivins, Stanton, VA, Hattie Leiss, Champaign, IL; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December, 22, 2008, at the Summit Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
