Dorothy Eretta Eller

March 12, 1913 — August 27, 2003

Dorothy Eretta Eller, 90 years young, left this world peacefully on the morning of August 27, 2003, at her home of 32 years in Paden, surrounded by those she loved most. Dorothy was born 8 miles north of Paden, Oklahoma, on March 12, 1913, to Callie Hendryx and Richard Cornelius ?Ned? Parsons. She was raised by her mother and adopted father, Rocky F. Cochran, in the Paden and Skiatook area. She married Ed Blake Eller on September 3, 1929, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. They lived in Tahlequah, Skiatook, and various areas in California before settling in Paden, Oklahoma. Her husband and parents preceded her in death. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and attended the Assembly of God Church in Prague. She worked in the mercantile business at the family store in Tahlequah, the Pharoah sewing factory in Broken Arrow, and Drury?s in Prague. Her most enjoyable career was that of a caring mother to her daughter and son-in-law, a loving grandma to her three grandchildren, and an affectionate ?Grandma D? to her eight great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Redonna and Larry Seaton of Paden; her three grandchildren and spouses, Kelly Jo and Doug Smith of Aiken, South Carolina, Justin Seaton of Paden, Krendy and Randy Brown of Prague; eight great-grandchildren, Kalyska Kaly Jo and Laramie Larie Ayne Smith of Aiken, South Carolina, Cory Crouch of Chandler, Collin Seaton of Stroud, and Kamber, Garrett, and Blakelyn Brown of Prague. She is also survived my many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2003, 2:00 P.M., at the Paden Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Eastep officiating. Burial will follow in the Prague Cemetery with Sherman Clonts, Ethan Smith, Cody Smith, Jerry Seaton, Curtis Kennedy, and Kevin Belford serving as pallbearers. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague, Oklahoma.
