Dormi Lee Carver was born on March 10, 1923, in Paden, Oklahoma, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the age of 88. Dormi, the daughter of Prince William and Verna 'Leona' (Worley) DeWeber, was a resident of Macomb, Oklahoma. She married Leonard Cecil Carver on February 3, 1940. Dormi was a graduate of Paden High School Dormi, a retired seamstress and a member of the Romulus Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Lenora Gumm; brothers, Ralph, Floyd, Glenn DeWeber and an infant; and sisters, Geneva Horton, DeWilma Adams, Audrey Marquez, and Viola 'Faye' DeWeber. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Edie Carver of Divide, CO; son-in-law, Robert Gumm of Romulus; sister, Geraldine Fortson of Tecumseh; sisters-in-law, Juanita DeWeber of Tecumseh, Bernice DeWeber of California,Joy Carver of Paden, Ruby Rodebush of Prague, Bonnie Raines of Prague; brother-in-law, Charles Ray Carver and his wife, Carol, of Fairfax; grandchildren:, Ric and Sharla Whited, Teresa Carver, Tammy and Mike Cummings, Shelley Carver Louchrin, Sherri Carver, Lance Carver; great-grandchildren, Richard Whited, III, Roberta Denton, Christina Stephens, Chrystal Stalnaker, Brittney Notah, Linda Heatley, Amber Mathis, Stele Hawkins, Zachary Wells, Jamey Hawkins, Jessica Cummings; great-great-grandchildren, Tyler, Sierra, Dillon and Tegun Stalnaker; Trinity, Rhylee and Bailey Nadeau; Landon Heatley; Matthew and Jayce Notah; Guy Denton, III; numerous other nieces, nephews, other realtives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Chaplains Glen Pence, Mike McCauley, and Mark Borum officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Paden.
