Doris Jane Ogee, 87, of Choctaw passed away May 25, 2012, in the company of her family. She was born September 5, 1924, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Benjamin Franklin Henshall and Suzie Cousins Henshall. Doris married the love of her life, Phillip S. Ogee, Sr., on July 7, 1943, and they lived a wonderful life together in Choctaw, where they raised their two sons, Phillip S. Ogee, Jr. and Larry S. Ogee. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Clivas Henshall and Patricia Plowman. Doris is survived by her husband, of the home; two sons, Phillip and wife, Lana, Larry and wife, Agnes; her six grandchildren, Leslie, Larry, Jr. and his wife Erin, Paul Mullenix, Roben Thomas, Keri Harjo & Lewis Sutphin; 14 great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Kaden, Kale, Sydney, Jack, Zachary, Benjamin, Wynema, Vanessa, Theodore, Joseph, Lillian, Nathan & Kyle. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Ivie and her husband, James Ivie of Tulsa; brother, Benjamin Henshall of Oklahoma City and many nieces and nephews. Doris had many friends who will miss her smiling face, caring nature and her 'extreme punctuality'. Services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the Choctaw United Methodist Church, Choctaw, OK, with Rev. Charla Gwartney officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
