Doris Ann Spriggs

Doris Ann Cantrell Spriggs, age 69, of Oklahoma City, OK, formerly of Harrah, OK, was born on January 22, 1936, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was the daughter of Samuel D. & Doris Guy Cantrell. She left this life on October 16, 2005, in Oklahoma City, OK. Doris graduated from Southeast High School in Oklahoma City. She worked for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services for fourteen years. Doris was a member of the Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church of Harrah. She taught Sunday School and served on the hostess committee. Doris enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles, making flower arrangements and cake decorating. Doris was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, William Allan Spriggs, Oklahoma City, OK; 1 son & daughter-in-law, Randall & Kaye Spriggs, Oklahoma City, OK; 1 daughter, Cathy McPherson, Hawaii; 2 sisters, Sammie Newport, Stratford, OK, Cora Mae Haynes, Grand Junction, CO; 5 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 21, 2005, at the First Baptist Church, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
