Donna Sue Wilkinson

Donna Wilkinson was born November 27, 1947 in Stillwater, Oklahoma and passed this life on April 29th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Donna attended Perkins Schools graduating in 1966. While at Perkins High School she was active in Basketball, Track, Cheerleading, Girls State, Band Queen and National Honor Society. Following graduation, Donna enrolled at Central State College in Edmond, Oklahoma. While attending Central State, she was active in Cheerleading, Deans Honor Roll, Member of Sigma Kappa Sorority, and was selected Homecoming Queen her senior year. Upon graduation in 1970, Donna moved to Potosi, Missouri to begin her teaching career where she met her husband, Ed Wilkinson. They were married June 11, 1971. Donna and Ed moved to Oklahoma in 1974. Donna taught at Stroud Public Schools until 2000 retiring after 28 years of teaching. Donna is survived by her husband Ed. Two sons and daughter in laws, Jay and wife Jaime and grandchildren, Gunnar, Gabbi, Grady and Gia of Broken Arrow and Scott and wife Heather and grandchildren Kyelor, Scotlyn and Hayes of Broken Arrow. One sister, Willa Jean Casey and husband Ron Casey of Destin Florida. One brother, Ken Hall and wife Paula Hall of Perkins. Donna is also survived by her mother, June Hall of Perkins. Donna was preceded in death by her father Alvin Hall. Services will be held Friday, May 4th at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Stroud. In lieu of flowers the family request all donations be made to the Stroud Education Foundation or Prairie Point Retirement Center in Stroud. Funeral service will be held at the First Christian Church in Stroud on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Stephen McCammon and Kirby Applegate officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
