Donald Ray Baker

Donald Ray Baker was born on February 28, 1939, in Harjo, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, November 20, 2008, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 69. Donald, the son of Vester Tolbert and Katie May Woodring Baker, was a resident of Tulsa. He was the owner of Baker''s Plumbing and Drain. Donald was of the Baptist faith; a 40-year Master Mason, most recently with the Altus Blue Lodge #62; and a 32nd degree Mason with the Guthrie Scottish Rite Consistory. His parents and brothers, Glenn, Roy, and Ben preceded Donald in death. His family wishes to thank June Tarr and Mikey Cartee for the kind care and assistance. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Casey Rowland of Blair; grandchildren, Bryan Farrington and his wife Tannah of Jones, Clay Farrington and Brandie of Blair, Sheila Rowland of Blair; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruby Ames of Texas MaryJo Perryman of Prague, Myrtle Gilbert of Stroud, Barbara and Robert VanDusen of Norman, Brenda McCone of Prague; rothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth Baker of Lawton, Dannie and Orietta Baker of Florida; 8 great-grandchildren; best friend, June Tarr of Broken Arrow; and his beloved Yorkie, Chloe. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague with Rev. Jeremy Wallace officiating.
