Donald Leslie Patterson

Donald Leslie Patterson was born on November 19, 1948, in Norman, and departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2016, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 67. Donald, the son of Denver and Mary (Newman) Patterson, was a resident of Meeker. Donald graduated high school at Shawnee with the class of 1967 and continued his education attaining his bachelor’s degree. Donald retired from Tinker. Donald loved hunting and fishing, he enjoyed watching football and NASCAR. After retiring from Tinker Donald spent his last years working where he truly loved, on his farm in his pecan grove. Donald’s parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Lisa Patterson of Yukon; daughterLeslie Deitz of Oklahoma City; grandchildrenDenver Patterson, and Madison and Olivia Deitz; a sister, Jane Hall of Meeker and her daughter, Jennifer Hall of Meeker. A memorial services will be held at 2:00 Saturday, February 6, at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
