Donald Lee Crowder

Donald Lee Crowder, Stroud, Oklahoma, resident was born on September 26, 1934, in Carney, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, October 21, 2010, in Stroud, at the age of 76 years. Donald was the son of Ira and Opal (Williams) Crowder. He was a former Chandler resident and worked as an Electronic Technician for many years. He married Effie D. Butler on September 16, 1952, in Carney, Oklahoma. His parents, wife, and one son, Darrell Lee; preceded Donald in death. Survivors include, one son & daughter-in-law, Bob & Barbara Crowder of Milfay, OK, two daughters & son-in-law, Linda & Bob Silvis of Cleveland, OK, Brenda Jean Caruthers of Stroud, OK, one brother, Charles Crowder of Noble, OK, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at the Carney Cemetery, Carney, Oklahoma, on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at 10:00 AM. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
