Donald Joe Howell

Donald Joe Howell was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on November 3, 1940 and departed this life in Depew, Oklahoma on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the age of 74 years. Donald was the son of Garland and Helen (Parsons) Howell. He was born in Stroud and spent his early years there. Don lived with his wife and children in Edmond for 27 years prior to moving back to Stroud in the early 1990s. He worked as Dirt Contractor where he ran heavy equipment. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud. He married Dolores Billen in Oklahoma City on February 7, 1964. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Dolores of the home, one son, David Howell of Fort Lauderdale, FL, one daughter, Carmen Ryan of Edmond, two brothers, Curtis Howell of Stroud, S. G. Howell of Hutchinson, KS, one sister, Norma Johnson of Oklahoma City, two grandchildren, Connor and Maren Ryan, other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Stroud, with Rev. James Bond officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud, OK.
