Don Edward Harrison, a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma, was born in Okemah, Oklahoma, on January 30, 1928, and departed this life in Stroud, on Thursday, April 28, 2005, at the age of 77 years. Don was the son of Grover and Mattie Shumate Harrison, and a resident of the Stroud area most of his life.He retired from the Stroud Regional Hospital where he worked in security. He was also an EMT, a police officer, and as a member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud. Don married Ethel Mae Grammar in Okemah on March 18, 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and 2 sisters. Survivors include Wife Ethel of the home Three sons Richard Harrison of Richfield, MN Timothy L. Condict of Cromwell, OK Shirley Harden of Okemah, OK Evelyn Gregory of Newcastle, OK Meryl Carter of California Edna Keener of Okemah, OK 11 Grandchildren 9 Great grandchildren Others relatives and friends.
