Donald E. Beesley, Jr.

Donald E. ?Eddie? Beesley, Jr., Wellston, OK, age 55, was born on May 27, 1950, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was the son of Donald Edward & Bonnie Ezzel Beesley. He passed from this life on November 22, 2005, in Oklahoma City, OK. Eddie volunteered for 20 years and served as the Fire Chief for 6 years at the Southwest Lincoln County Fire Department. He was a member of the State Firefighters Association and served on the Board of Directors after his retirement from the fire department. He showed cutting horses and was a member of the National Cutting Horse Association for 20 years. Eddie enjoyed fishing, working with his horses, playing cards and visiting with his friends at the coffee shop. Eddie was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte of the home; father, Donald Edward Beesley, Spencer, OK; 1 son & daughter-in-law, Russell Todd & April Beesley, Tecumseh, OK; 1 daughter & son-in-law, Marci & Bobby Fisk, Wellston, OK; 2 brothers, Dale Arthur Beesley, Little Axe, OK, Phillip Roy Beesley, Harrah, OK; 3 grandchildren, Kelsey Beesley, Logan Beesley, Austin James Fisk and many other relatives and friends. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2005, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at the Wellston Cemetery, Wellston, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
