Donald Carl Morelock

Donald Carl Morelock was born on September 17, 1927, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday Decmeber 30, 2012, in Midwest City Oklahoma, at the age of 85. Don, the son of Virgil and Dollie (Craig) Morelock, was a resident of Prague. He graduated from Slick High School. He married Aletha Aline Davidson on November 29, 1948 in Bristow. Don worked in the oilfield as a pumper/gauger. Don's wife, parents, three sisters, one brother and a great, granddaughter, Harper Kate Morelock, preceded him in death. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Daniel Patterson of Prague; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff Morelock of Prague, Gary and Denise Morelock of Stroud; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters:Darlene Collins of Prague, Delores Acker of Olathe, KS, Janice Burkhart of Oklahoma City, Margaret Kerr of Prague. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Pastor Scott Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
