Modena 'Diane' Haley, was born in Prague, Oklahoma on October 27, 1956. She lived in Oklahoma City with her mother for 52 years and then moved to Van Alstyne, Texas to be near her sister. Diane passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at the age of 62. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Allen and Bonnie Louise (Case) Haley and her grandparents, F.W. and Sarah Case and George and Aquilla Haley. Diane was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt who greeted everyone with a bright smile. She had a special relationship with her sister and caregivers at Meadowbrook Care Center. Diane led a simple life with love for music, chocolate milk, and sweet tea. Although she never spoke a word, she knew what she liked and could communicate in her special way. She is survived by her sister, Pam Dawson of Van Alstyne, Texas; nieces, Jessica Ambrose and husband Kevin of Allen, Texas and Heylee Heep and husband Andrew of New York City; great-nieces Brooklyn and Blake Ambrose, and great-nephew Dawson Heep. She is also survived by many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who all shaped her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dale Rogers Training Center, Oklahoma City, OK.
