Dewey Ray Estes long time Chandler, OK, resident, was born on July 10, 1929, in Davenport, and departed this life December, 23, 2012, at his home in Chandler, at the age of 83 years. Dewey was the son of Roy and Mae (Valliquette) Estes. He served in the United States Army. Dewey married Mary Louise Freeman on October 2, 1949 in Chandler. He was an accomplished architect working for The Price Group Architects & Planners in Shawnee, Oklahoma and finished his career with the department of H.U.D. in Oklahoma City. His parents, one sisters and wife Mary Louise preceded Dewey in death. Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Phillip R. and Mary Estes of Hartland, WI. and one daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen A. and Benito Sauceda III of Monument CO. One brother Jack Estes of CA. Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma with Rev. Bruce Newby officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, OK.
