Dewey A. Wiley

Dewey Arthur Wiley was born on May 20, 1928, in Meeker, Oklahoma to Plinny Arthur Wiley and Stella (Hurtt) Wiley and departed this life Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years. Dewey attended school at White Rock through the 11th grade before moving to California. He served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953. While in California he met Helen L. (Witt) Wiley in 1954, the love of his life. On June 18, 1955, they were married in Reno, Nevada. He worked for PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric) most of his life. Dewey was a Mason for the Masonic Lodge for 55 years, a sharpshooter, enjoyed gardening and sunflowers. He shared a great love for his wife and family. Dewey was preceded in death by his parents Stella Hurtt and Plinny Arthur Wiley, and all of his siblings. Dewey is survived by his wife Helen Wiley of 66 years, his daughter Kathy Ohlenmacher, his son Dan A. Wiley, his grandchildren: Daphne, Stefanie, Wesley, Derek and Morgan, his great grandchildren: Daemun, Jonathan, Jasmine, Briahnna, Justin Jr, Leslie, Zoe, Zaydn, Catalina, and Trey, his great great grandchildren: Micah, and Roland, along with cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other family members. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Rossville Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma officiated by Reverend Wesley Paul Coffey.
