Dessie Renee Brown

Dessie Morene Renee Brown was born in Benson, LA on October 17, 1919, and departed this life in Tuttle, Oklahoma on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the age of 88 years. Renee was the daughter of W. L. and Lillien G. Baucum Smith. Renee was resident of Stroud, Oklahoma. She married B. B. Brown in Mansfield, LA on March 6, 1937. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud and was a Housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. B. October 16, 1988, parents, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters. Survivors include, Three Sons & daughter in laws, Barry B. Brown of Woodward, OK, Michael D. & Geneva Brown of Anchorage, AK, Dean & Kathy Brown of Tuttle, OK, Two Sisters, Ozelle Valentine of CA, Eunice F. Dupree of LA, Seven Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren, Other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Burl Mackey officiating. Burial will be held at 1:30 P.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
