Dennis Eugene Tuttle went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the age of 82. Surrounded by his loving family, he passed away peacefully in his home in Stroud, Oklahoma after a short battle with cancer. Dennis was born on October 28, 1937 in Independence, Kansas. He was born to Jesse Loyd Tuttle and Edith Adelia (Jackson) Tuttle. Dennis attended school in Cushing, Schlegal, and Davenport. He served in the US Army from 1956 to 1960. Dennis married the love of his life, Novalene Holland, May 29, 1959 in Stroud, Oklahoma. Dennis started his tele communication career in 1962 for Western Electric which later began AT&T. He retired as a AT&T Supervisor in 1984. He owned and operated A and T Installation from 1984 until his second retirement in 1998. Dennis was one of the founders of Maranatha Christian Center in Stroud, Oklahoma. He was devoted to serving the Lord through his work at Maranatha until the time of his death. Dennis loved traveling, reading, fishing, and farming. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed all of his life adventures with his wife of 61 years by his side and surrounded by his family that adored him. He will be remembered for his wise counsel, sense of humor and loyalty to his family. He took delight in spoiling his great grandchildren. Dennis was survived by his wife, Novalene Tuttle of the home; two brothers Loyd Tuttle and his wife Sally of Houston, Texas and Dale Tuttle and Beth Cardozo of Rockport, Maine; two sons Dennis Eugene Tuttle, Jr. and his wife Dianna of Mansfield, Texas, Mark Tuttle and his wife Becky of Stroud, Oklahoma; one daughter Regina Flatt and her husband Lonnie of Prague, Oklahoma. Dennis was an adoring grandfather to ten grandchildren; Dennis Eugene Tuttle, III and his wife Brittany of Fort Worth, Texas, Lauren Newsom and her husband Gavin of Waxahachie, Texas, Roy York and his wife La’Rin of Montgomery, Texas, Jeremy Lakins and his wife Jeena of Vero Beach, Florida, April Fowler and her husband Wes of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Adam Tuttle and his wife Amanda of Stroud, Oklahoma, Kim Flatt and his wife Jennifer of Stroud, Oklahoma, Bobbie McNelly and Alex Flatt of Prague, Oklahoma, Michaela Flatt of Edmond and her fiancé Luke Dougherty. Dennis is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, William Kim Tuttle. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 11 at Maranatha Christian Center, 600 Tanger Dr. in Stroud, Oklahoma. Burial to follow at Stroud Cemetery in Stroud, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud, Oklahoma.
