Dennis Donald Kyrk, age 91, of Oklahoma City, OK, was born on March 15, 1924, in Blackwell, Oklahoma. He was the son of Ara & Zelena (Nicholson) Kyrk. He left this life on Sunday, October 25, 2015, in Oklahoma City, OK. Dennis graduated from Kansas State with a degree in architectural engineering. He proudly served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WW II. He was a member of the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribe. He married Rose Marie Fairbanks on August 13, 1950, in St. Clere, Kansas. Dennis was a traffic engineer for Oklahoma City for thirty years. He designed the one way streets in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed flying and had his pilot's license. Dennis loved gardening, making arrowheads, polishing rocks for jewelry and carving. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie Kyrk, Oklahoma City, OK; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Eric & Denise Kyrk, Harrah, OK, Tracy & Leilah Kyrk, Mustang, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Kellye & Chet Steward, Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Willard Kyrk, Oklahoma City, OK and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5749 NW 37th Street, Oklahoma City, OK. Arrangements were made with Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
