Denett Joy Cochran

Denett Cochran went to her Heavenly home on Monday, November 18, 2024.

Denett was born in Stroud, OK on October 13, 1955 to William and Helen (Brady) Hoppes. Denett graduated from Depew in 1973. While in her senior year she met Jackie Cochran Jr and they married in 1974. Together they raised a family of three children. Denett absolutely loved being a mother and excelled at it. To her, family was the biggest blessing. She loved to cook, sing, shop and keep up with people on Facebook. Denett was always faithful to God. For many years, she led children’s church and worship services at her church. Denett always instilled in her children to love and serve Jesus and shine His light for the world to see. Her kind, gentle, and generous soul will be missed. 

Denett was preceded in death by her parents William “Junior” and Helen Hoppes; sister Deann Hoppes; and brother Dwayne Hoppes.  

Left to treasure her memory include her husband of 50 years Jackie Cochran Jr; son Andrew Cochran and wife Mari; daughter Shannon Spencer and husband Lonny; daughter Misty Glover and husband Billy; chosen children Michael and Angie Jordan grandchildren Hannah Cochran, Harley Cochran, Hailey Cochran, Liam Cochran, Angel Estrada, William Glover, Aaron Jordan, Austin Jordan; sister Debbie Brichacek; also extended family and many friends. 

 A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.parksbrothers.net.
