Dena (Littrell) Ellis

Dena (Littrell) Ellis was born on July 31, 1942, in Paden, and departed this life on Thursday, September 1, 2011, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 69. Dena, the daughter of Forrest Claude and Clora (Argo) Littrell, was a resident of Paden. She married Charles Ogden in May 1959 and together they had one son, Todd. She later married Doug Ellis in February 1981. Dena received her Master's Degree from East Central University and worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. She loved her granddaughter and her pets, especially her dogs. Dena's parents; husband, Doug Ellis; sisters, Carlyn Allen and Darla Heinzig; and nephew, Rocky Heinzig, preceded Dena in death. Survivors include his son, Todd Ogden of Prague; grandchildren, Karlee R. Ogden of Prague, Jason Allen of Chickasha; nieces and nephews, Chris Heinzig of Wewoka, F.C. Blagg of San Antonio, TX, Shelly Heinzig of Seminole, and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Terry Pittman officiating.
