Delores Janet (Diehl) Stewart, Harrah, OK, age 81, was born on March 18, 1931, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the daughter of Cecil Boyd Diehl, Sr. & Minnie Ella (English) Diehl. She left this life on Monday, May 14, 2012, in Midwest City, OK. Delores retired from Tinker AFB where she was an aircraft technician. She loved to bowl and crochet. Delores enjoyed listening to Christian music and collecting dolls. She loved spending time with her grandkids and taking them places. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Travis Arnett, 2 sisters, Norma Moore, Dottie Fleming and brother, Robert Diehl. She is survived by 2 sons & daughter-in-law, Darren & Lisa Herdman, Harrah, OK, Kenneth Ray Herdman, Oklahoma City, OK; 2 daughters & son-in-law, Cheryl & Roger Self, Moore, OK, Cynthia Killan, Harrah, OK; 2 brothers, Cecil Boyd Diehl, Jr., Oklahoma City, OK, Jerry Diehl, Oklahoma City, OK; 3 sisters, Luvene Anthony, Gulfport, MS, Barbara Walker, Oklahoma City, OK, Loretta Thorpe, Oklahoma City, OK; 6 grandchildren,Darrell Arnett, Priscilla Jones, Jennifer Firestone, Matthew Herdman, Brent Herdman, Lauren Herdman; 8 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK, with Pastor Kevin Daniels officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
