Delores "D.I." Marie Case

Delores 'D.I.' Marie Case was born on May 8, 1932, in Paden, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. D.I., the daughter of Andrew and Rosa (Whitley) Brown, was a resident of Paden. She married L.T. Case on March 25, 1950, in Okemah. D.I. loved to fish, sew, garden, cook, and go to church. The great joy of D.I.'s life was her family, nothing made her happier than spending time with her children and grandchildren. D.I.'s parents, husband of 65 years, L. T., brothers, Carl Cecil Brown and Morris Brown, and sisters, Dolly Brown, Fern Lee, Bessie Mayfield, Cleo Clonts, Bertha Lakins, Agnes Widener Lightle, Ruby Bivins and Margrett Clonts, and son-in-law, Robert Rainwater preceded her in death. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Vicki Case of Paden; daughters and son-in-law, Christy Rainwater of Prague and Shelia and Jon Henson of Norman; sister, Pauline Orr; grandchildren, Crystal Marie and Craig Makes Cry, Rachel Lorene Marie and Nathan Walker, Robbie and Lana Rainwater, Megan Charie Case, Stacy Rene Henson, Missy Elaine Case, Ashlee Kay Henson, Michael Rod Brett and Brooke Case; great-grandchildren, Madison Ann Walker, Hailey Jo Rainwater, Jace Robert Rainwater, Brody Michael Case, Blakely Dawn Case, Case Allen Makes Cry. The Case family will receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at the Burnett Mission in Paden with Bryan Logan officiating. Interment will follow at Paden Cemetery.
