Delbert Teters

Delbert Otho Teters was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on February 22, 1923 and departed this life in Drumright, Oklahoma on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the age of 89 years. Delbert was the son of Harve and Alice Mae (Craig) Teters. He married Margeline McGee Hunt on February 20, 1953 in Chandler, Oklahoma. Delbert worked in farming and ranching around Stroud for many years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Stroud. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and five sisters. Survivors include, Wife,Margeline of the home, Two sons, John D. Teters of Stroud, Eugene Hunt of Athens, Texas, One daughter,Debra Mitchell of Burleson Texas, One sister-in-law, Ada Teters of Stroud, Oklahoma, Six Grandchildren, Six Grandchildren & Seven Great Grandchildren, Other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeromye Jackson and Rev. Don Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroud Cemetery, Stroud, Oklahoma under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Stroud, Oklahoma.
