Delaine Green Baker was born on May 2, 1945, in McAlester, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, May 14, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 64. Delaine, the daughter of Rowland William and Cassie Laverne Williams Green, was a long-time resident of Prague. She graduated from McAlester High School with the class of 1963. She and Frederick Lee Baker were married on January 16, 1970 at the Asbury Methodist Church in McAlester by Pastor Paul Longstrath. Delaine worked at BancFirst for 29 years and at Tinker Air Force Base for 21 years. Delaine''s current position at Tinker was Program Analyst with the 420 SCMS/GUFA financial execution flight. She was a 30-year devoted member of the Church of Christ in Prague where her many talents blessed everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Fred Baker of the home; sons, Brent Baker, Brad Baker, and Ryan Baker, all of Prague; daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and Shon Gillispie of Prague; brother and sister-in-law, Cyrus Lee and Connie Green of Lawton; grandchildren, Raygan and Dalton Gillispie; and sister, Delores Suson of Midlothian, TX. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation 1900 NW Expressway, Suite R325 Oklahoma City, OK 73118 Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 18, 2009, 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Lonnie Hutton, Idus England, and Palmer Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Little Cemetery.
