Dee Coy Pitts

Dee Coy Pitts was born in Gypsy, Oklahoma on April 3, 1939 and departed this life in Milfay, Oklahoma on September 6, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Dee was the son of John Magnus and Lucy (Little) Pitts. He was a resident of Gypsy and Milfay all of his life. He owned and operated his own Brick Mason Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud, and loved to hunt, fish, and play horseshoes, but most of all he loved his family. He married Rose Elaine Wilson in Stroud on May 27, 1983. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Magnus and Lucy (Little) Pitts, one sister, Melvina Holman, three brothers, James , George and Jim Pitts. Survivors include, wife, Rose of the home, four sons, Preston Pitts of Milfay, Clark Pitts & wife Krista of Milfay, Clay Pitts & wife Jennifer of Milfay, John Thomas & wife Muffy of LaCenter, KY., four daughters, Rhonda Skinner & husband Bryan of Welty, Jackie Benson & husband Gary of Bristow, Michelle King & husband Jared of Milfay, Dawn Thomas of Paducah, KY, one brother, John Pitts & wife Thedis of Oklahoma City, two sisters, Geneva Yocum of Bristow, Mary Baker of Oklahoma City, twelve grandchildren, Corey Pitts, Colby Pitts, Steven King, Ashley King, Kevin Benson & wife Kacy, Danika Darnell & husband Robert, Kyle Benson, Zack Thomas, Abby Thomas, Rebecca Pitts, Taylor Pitts, and Scott Skinner, one great grandchild Julia King, other relatives and many friends. Memorial service will be held Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Stroud with Pastor James Bond officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
