David Wayne Gilman

David Wayne Gilman, 54, passed away surrounded by family on August 23 in Oklahoma City due to complications of COVID-19 pneumonia. He was born to Roy and Wanda Gilman on September 12, 1966, in Midwest City OK. He graduated from Stroud High School and worked as a truck driver for several years, most recently at Acord Transportation. He is preceded in death by his brother Michael Gillman. He is survived by the mother of his children Candie Gilman Raines, daughter Brittany Schaeffer and wife Traci, daughter Shelby Gilman and partner Kenneth Dye, son Jonathan Gilman and wife Gayle, parents Roy and Wanda Gilman, sister Kim Stewart and husband Tony, sister Milissa Ferrell and husband Leonard, grandchildren Brynlee and Brody Gilman, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be laid to rest at Stroud Cemetery on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10:00 am following a graveside service. Condolences may be offered online at www.parksbrothers.net.
