David Franklin Maddox

David Franklin Maddox was born on September 27, 1944, in Hobart, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, November 11, 2007, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 63. David, the son of William Franklin and Mabel Lorain Truelove Maddox, was a resident of Paden. He married Marilyn Knight on October 5, 1973 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans. David was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paden. His parents, three brothers and three sisters preceded David in death. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Marilyn Maddox of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, David Franklin and Lacresha Maddox of Claremore, Jeffery Franklin and Natosha Maddox of Paden, Anthoney Dean Maddox of Paden; sisters, Barbara Lewis of Claremore, Leora Johnson of Kingston; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Edna Knight of Meeker; sisters-in-law, Halie Maddox of Kingston, Beverly Maddox of Paden, and Ivy Maddox of Moore; grandchildren, Savea Caldwell, and Alyssa, Emily, Piercyn Maddox; and great-grandchild, Atticus Caldwell. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 2:00 PM, at First Baptist Church in Paden with Bro. Terry Pittman officiating. Interment will follow at Paden Cemetery in Paden Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
