David Dean Curry

February 21, 1934 — December 19, 2019

David Dean Curry was born on February 21, 1934 in Kendrick, Oklahoma to William Arthur (W.A.) and Margaret (Galloway) Curry and departed this life on Thursday, December 19, 2019 in Meeker, Oklahoma at the age of 85. Dean lived north of Davenport for over 70 years and worked in the oil and gas industry. In 1952, he married his wife Fredia (Cook) Curry and they enjoyed 62 years together before she passed on December 15, 2014. They had two sons together Kevin and Randy Curry. Dean loved to spend time with grandchildren and watch them play ball. Dean was preceded in death by his wife Fredia Curry, parents W.A. and Margaret Curry, and brother George Curry. Survivors include two sons; Kevin Curry and wife Tammy of Davenport, Randy Curry and wife Brenda of Chandler, two sisters; Debbie Kane and husband Dave of Luther, and Linda Crail husband Troy of Austin, TX, five Grandchildren; Amy Miller and husband Brett of Chandler, Linda Vandever and husband David of TN, Tara Caffey and husband Ryan of Arlington, TX, Julie White and husband Josh of Prague, and Mark Schneider of Shawnee, eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Davenport Cemetery officiated by Rev. Mike Mitchell. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
