David Charles Pritchett Sr.

David Charles Pritchett Sr. Age 62, was found passed away on August 10th, 2019 in his home in Prague, Oklahoma. He was the Husband of Shirley Pritchett. They would have celebrated 41 years of marriage as of August 26th. Born in San Pedro, California, on September 2nd, 1956, he was the son of Charlie Pritchett and Hazel “Williams” Pritchett. He attended school at San Pedro High School. He owned a landscaping company for a short period of time before he started driving truck. He drove big rigs, cement trucks, and dump trucks. He attended church at The Little Church on the Corner in Prague, Ok and was once a member of the Moose Lodge in California. He could be found wearing overalls and a straw hat or cowboy hat and boots, he loved a good party and good food, he loved having dogs and fish as pets, loved cars trucks and motorcycles, the outdoors, and listened to Rock ‘n’ roll and country music. He will be remembered for being bull headed, opinionated, and stubborn with a sensitive side. He was blunt honest, told you what he thought whether you’d agree or not, and wouldn’t back down for no one. He did love his wife, kids, and grandkids, family and friends. He is survived by his father, Charlie Pritchett of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and brother Mark Pritchett of Palos Verdes, California, His wife Shirley Pritchett of Seminole, Oklahoma, his children, Christina James and Danny Stowe of Shawnee, Ok, Elizabeth Pritchett of Tecumseh, Ok, and David Pritchett Jr. and Alyssa Taylor of Luther, Ok, his dearly beloved grandchildren Hazel Allyah Allison (Hazel Lillie Mae Pritchett), Duncan Nathaniel Youngblood, Calvin Rae James Jr., and Ember Rae Pritchett. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Hazel Olive “Williams” Pritchett and grandson Charlez Wayne Pritchett. David and his family was and are very grateful to Dorothy Mann for her many years of service, dedication, love and friendship that she has shown to David for over 14 years. He wouldn’t have made it this far without you! The service of remembrance for David will be held on Saturday , August 17th 2019 at 11 am at The Little Church on the Corner (Former Prague Church of the Nazarene) 702 Klabzuba Ave, Prague, Oklahoma 74864.
