David Charles Hyams

David Charles Hyams of Newalla, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. David was born on December 28, 1947 in Oklahoma City. He was the son of Rolin Hyams and Hazel (Bowers) May. David married Nancy Jane Cutsinger on November 6, 1985 in Bastrop, Texas. David and Nancy made their home in Texas for a few years, before going back home to Oklahoma, to be closer to family. David and Nancy were happily married for thirty-eight years.

David was a cowboy and had a great passion for horses, donkeys and especially his beloved mules. He enjoyed trading, trail riding and training mules. If there was a horse sale in the general area, you could bet David would be there and would be ready to trade.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of more than 38 years, Nancy Jane Hyams; three daughters, Kathy, Melanie and Hallie; one son, David; two stepsons, Jerry Bowden and Todd Bowden; two brothers, Tommy Hyams and Robert Hyams; step grandchildren, Jacob and Tyler; numerous grandchildren, family and friends.
