Darrold J Reed

Darrold J Reed was born in Depew, Oklahoma on November 8, 1934 and departed this life in Inola, Oklahoma on May 24, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Darrold was the son of Noah L. and Winnie O. Pitts Reed. He was a resident of Inola, Oklahoma for 5 years moving from Stroud. He attended Stroud High School and graduated in 1953. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Darrold was in the United States Army National Guard and worked for Phillips on the Turner Turnpike for many years & worked for Sac & Fox as a Security Guard. Darrold loved to raise horses and spent many hours playing he guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, Two Daughter, Darya Vaughan and Joe of Inola, Oklahoma, Amanda Lippert of Davenport, Oklahoma, One Brother,Donnie Reed & wife Liz of Stroud, Oklahoma, Two Grandchildren, Jered and Jacob, Others relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Parks Chapel in Stroud on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Burl Mackey officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brother Funeral Service in Stroud.
