Darren Ray Spradley

Darren Ray Spradley, age 44, of Harrah, OK was born on December 13, 1969, in Muskogee, OK. He was the son of David Ray Spradley and Betty Ann Glover. He left this life on Thursday, June 26, 2014, in Oklahoma City, OK. Darren graduated from Harrah High School in 1988, then attended EOC Tech in Choctaw for 2 years and Gordon Cooper Tech in Shawnee for 2 years. He married Kimberlee Landry on June 19, 2004, in Jeanerette, LA. He was a machinist at Baylon Tools in Oklahoma City for ten years. He was currently working as a ROV supervisor for Oceaneering, an oil and gas company. Darren attended St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. His hobbies included Nascar, camping, fishing, hunting, working on his old truck and all kinds of sports, especially OU sports and the Pittsburg Steelers. He loved spending time with his children, especially going to Brandon's baseball and football games. He was preceded in death by his step-father, DeWayne Glover, maternal grandparents, Opal & Ted Turner, father-in-law & mother-in-law, Ernest & Cecil Landry and nephew, Benjamin Breaux. Survivors include his wife, Kim Spradley, Harrah, OK; son, Brandon Ray Spradley, Harrah, OK; daughter,Madelyn Ann Spradley, Harrah, OK; mother, Betty Glover & Ray Hunnicutt, Harrah, OK; father, David Spradley, Porum, OK; sister & brother-in-law, Sheryl & Paul Gibson, Harrah, OK; brother-in-law, Donald & Lisa Landry, Jeanerette, LA; sister-in-law,Elaine & Paul Landry, Jeanerette, LA; nieces, Brandi Easton & Kassidy Gibson, Harrah, OK, Nicole Klota & husband, Christopher Klota, Indiana; special friends, Mort & Diana Barber and their children, Morty, Braden & Ava Barber, Harrah, OK, Billy & Shelly Harrison and their children, William, Devyn, Lili & Holly Harrison and many other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 1st at Smith-Parks Funeral Service, 2039 N. Tim Holt Dr., Harrah, OK 73045. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
