Darrell Wayne Herd

Darrell Wayne Herd, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on March 1, 1973, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and departed this life on September 4, 2013, in Chandler at the age of 40 years. Darrell was the son of Donald Wayne and Betty Katharine (Ames) Herd. He married Joan Alexander on March 1, 1997, in Davenport, Oklahoma. Darrell worked as a route sales driver for Hub's vending in Chandler. His father preceded Darrell in death. Survivors include, his wife, Joan, one son, Ryan, and two daughters, Ashley and Meagan Herd all of Chandler, mother and step father, Betty and Kendall Cooper of Ponca City, Oklahoma, two sisters Kimberley Bartlett of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Kelly Miller of Stroud, Oklahoma, other relatives and many friends. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made toward Darrell's funeral expense at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 9, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Davenport, Oklahoma with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
