Darlene was born on Thursday, August 10, 1939 in Stroud, OK to Virgil and Maxine (Howell) Holland. She graduated Stroud High School in 1957. Darlene was a waitress and cook at a couple of local restaurants and was one of the best. People would wait to sit in her section. In her free time, Darlene enjoyed going to the horse races, going to the casino and playing bingo. She was always ready to go jump in the car and go, especially with her sisters. If you knew Darlene, you knew that if she was watching tv sports were on, no matter what sport it was. Darlene was a member of Maranatha Christian Center. Her faith and love in the Lord was her top priority and she always wanted to make sure her family and anyone else she knew were being fed the word of God. She will be greatly missed.
