Danny Wayne Smith, Sr., age 62, of Newalla, OK, was born on October 29, 1953, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was the son of Glen D. & Joyce Vernell (McElroy) Smith. He left this life on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, in Newalla, OK. Danny was a trim carpenter for residential construction. He truly enjoyed building and carpentry. He loved playing on the computer, watching movies, fishing and playing pool. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Donna Jean Smith, one brother, David Smith and two sisters, Darlene Bell & Debora Palmer. Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Danny Wayne, Jr., & Tracy Smith, Huntsville, TX; 2 step-sons, Ronnie Nodwell, Independence, MO, Mike Nodwell, Independence, MO; 3 sisters, Donna Charlow, Newalla, OK, Dianna Smith, Newalla, OK, Denise Hood, Newalla, OK; 4 grandchildren, Clayton Langford Smith, Brianna Smith, Bethany Nodwell, Isabella Nodwell and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, October 24, 2016, at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Newalla, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
