Daniel Wayne "Dan" Young

Daniel Wayne 'Dan' Young, long-time Chandler, OK, resident was born in February 1943, in Kendrick, OK, and departed this life on October 15, 2013, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 70 years. Dan was the son of E.D. and Eva Maxine (Frantz) Young. He married Etta Ellis in 1983. Dan worked as a truck driver for many years. He also served in the Oklahoma National Guard and was a member of Straight Street Ministries in Chandler. His parents, three brothers, and one sister, preceded Dan in death. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Etta of the home; two sons, Danny Young of Nicoma Park; Nicholas Romero of Tulsa; and one daughter, Patty Young of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Gordon Young of Kendrick; Tommy Young of Oklahoma City and James Young of Chandler, four grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Straight Street Ministries in Chandler, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, OK.
