Daniel Orza, Age 79, resident of OKC died of natural causes in his home on Tuesday, February 6, 2019. Dan was born on January 8, 1940 in the Bronx, NY to Eda and Vincent Orza. He was the eldest brother to Connie and Vincent Orza. He was the husband to Roberta “Bert” Orza of OKC for 36 years. He is survived by four of his five children; Denise Ruggiero of the greater Boston area, Dan Jr. of Eugene, OR, Christine Woods of Edmond, Emily Holson of Owasso, their spouses and children. Mr. Orza was preceded in death by his daughter Alicia. Daniel graduated from the University of Hartford, CT with a BMED then went on to earn two additional Masters degrees from the University of Bridgeport, CT and CW Post College at West Point. Daniel served 21 years in the Military earning several awards including an Army Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal. He went on to spend several years as a decorated band conductor, teacher, and continued a successful career in Marketing and Advertising and the insurance business. Daniel was a selfless member of his community and devoted servant. Dan also enjoyed gardening, cooking, glass blowing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Daniel was a generous, gentle, and kind man with a sense of humor and positivity we can all hope to emulate. .
