Dalton James Keihl

Dalton James Keihl, Meeker, Oklahoma, resident, was born on April 13, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, and departed this life on January 15, 2005, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 59 years. Jim was the son of Delton C. and Hazel LaBaugh Keihl. He married Thelma Milton on February 14, 1999, in Harrah, Oklahoma. Jim served in the United States Coast Guard for over 26 years, being awarded the bronze star. After his retirement Jim worked for the United States Postal Service for ten years. He was a member of the American Legion and attended the Morning Star Baptist Church in Meeker, Oklahoma. His parents and first wife Lou preceded Jim in death. Survivors include: Wife: Thelma Keihl of the home; Four daughters & sons-in-law:Karen & Ray Lovett of FL; Sharon Willis of Norman, OK; Linda Moore of Tulsa, OK; Cynthia & Rex Conley of McCloud, OK; Three sons & daughters-in-law: Kenneth Nelson of Cancun, Mexico; Dennis & Lawanna Coots of Norman, OK; Billy & Vanessa Coots of Norman, OK; One Brother: Dennis Keihl of Florida. One sister: Marnie Horn of Florida; Fifteen grandchildren; Seven great grandchildren; Other relatives and many friends
