Dale Huddleston of McLoud, Oklahoma, was born on January 10, 1934, in Cauthron, Arkansas, and left this life on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. Dale was the son of Walter and Sarah Sally Pettiegrew Huddleston. He graduated from high school in Waldron, Arkansas, and received a business degree from Central State College in Edmond, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict from 1951 to 1954. Dale retired from Tinker Air Force Base where he was a contract negotiator. He was also a realtor. He enjoyed woodworking, especially building bird houses. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Teva Huddleston, McLoud, OK; 1 son & daughter-in-law, Darren & Renee Huddleston, Stillwater, OK; 1 step-son & spouse, Eric & Laudine Henson, Coconut Creek, FL; 1 step-daughter & spouse, Tonda & Curtis Shelton, Norman, OK; 2 brothers, Donald Huddleston, Midwest City, OK, Glen A. Huddleston, Cauthron, AR; 1 sister, Lola Nell Hunt, Midwest City, OK; 4 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 25, 2005, at Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry, OK, with Dr. Tony Nickel and Rev. Clint Cain officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, Oklahoma.
