Cynthia Elaine Dervin Bodwell, was born in Chandler, Oklahoma on October 5, 1955, and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Tuesday, November 04, 2008, at the age of 53 years. Cynthia was the daughter of Jim Dervin and Juanita Waggoner Smith. She was a resident of McLoud, Oklahoma. She graduated from Stroud High School in 1973, and worked as a waitress. She married William Bodwell in Eureka Spring, Arkansas on August 25, 2006. She was preceded in death by the Step Father, Carl Smith, maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include, Two Sons, Joshua Stephens & Roxsie of Oklahoma City, OK, Jacob Stephens of McCloud, OK, Three Daughters & Sons in Laws:Rachel and Mark Dennis of Okemah, OK, Tabatha and Gilbert DeLeon of Stroud, OK, Chanelle and Corky Davis of Stroud, OK, Father, Jim Dervin & wife Shirley of Stroud, OK, Mother, Juanita Smith of Stroud, OK, Step-Son, Bryan Bodwell of Moore, OK, Step-Daughter, Alexcia Gorman of Tyler, TX, One Brother & Sister in Law, Bryan and Diane Dervin of Stroud, OK, One Sister, Deana Williams of Oklahoma City, OK, Nine Grandchildren, Natalie, Cory, & Kelsie Dennis, Alyssa & Carly Deleon, Coby, Emma & Peyton Davis, Cadence Stephens, Others relatives and friends, Funeral service will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Stroud on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Dewayne Jackson and Rev. Jeromye Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
