Clytell Gallaher

Clytell Gallaher, Edmond, Oklahoma, resident, formerly of Wellston, Oklahoma, was born on April 18, 1921, in Wellston, Oklahoma, and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on July 9, 2009, at the age of 88 years Clytell was the daughter of George W. “Pete” and Mae (Godard) Vaughan. She married Burlin “Jiggs” Gallaher on January 14, 1938, in Wellston, Oklahoma. Clytell worked as a house keeper for many years. Her parents, husband, four sisters, and one brother, preceded Clytell in death. Survivors include, daughter & son-in-law, Lynda & Eulan Ray Edwards of Edmond, OK, two grandsons & spouses, Todd & Amy Edwards of Fairmount, GA, Rodney & Jimmie Dawn of Washington, OK, one granddaughter, Raelene Edwards of Edmond, OK, five great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009, 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Dewayne Settle officiating. Burial will follow at Wellston Cemetery, Wellston, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
