Clyde Monroe Shaffner was born on November 25, 1918, in Sparks, Oklahoma, and departed this life onMonday, December 4, 2006, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 88. Clyde, the son of William C. and Minnie Sarah Hudson Shaffner, was a long-time resident of Davenport, Oklahoma. He married Flossie Ann Gordan on November 22, 1938, in Sparks. He was a farmer, and worked in the oilfields for many years. Clyde was a member of the First Baptist Church in Davenport. His parents, brother, four sisters and one great-great-grandson preceded Clyde in death.
