We are very sad to report that long time EAA chapter member Clint Hager, passed away at the age of 75, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Clint, the son of Wayne and Opal (Sisk) Hager, was born on December 7, 1942 in Norfork, Arkansas. He was a long time resident of Meeker. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Clint was a pilot and devoted years of work to the Prague Airport. He has been active in aviation on many levels as an Air Force Veteran, private pilot, mechanic, builder of a Vans RV-8 and a Kitfox Super Sport, and has volunteered as a Young Eagles pilot in his Cessna 172. Clint has been generous with his time and talent hosting the first Chapter 1098 fly-in at his hangar at Prague Airport as well as actively participating in many EAA events. Clint has flown his Kitfox to many locations across the U.S. on camping trips, including several trips to Johnson Creek, Idaho, and Angel Fire, New Mexico with many of his pilot friends. His dry sense of humor and friendship will surely be missed. Clint was one of a kind, and a true friend. Clint was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sam. Survivors include his sons, Michael Hager and Terry Hager; daughters, Makenzie Hager, Tammy Deherrera and Amy Hager; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Tyler, Katlynn, Vivian, Lucia and Nolan; great grandchildren, Lucas, Landon and Emery; brother, Elvin Hager and sister, Sue and many other family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at Clinton’s Hangar at the Prague Airport. Arrangements were entrusted to Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
