Clifton “JB” White of Paden, passed away on December 11, 2019 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. JB was the son of John Barnabas and Edith “Pearl” (Wright) White. He was born on May 11, 1930 in Snowmac, Oklahoma. JB was hard working farmer and oil field worker. JB held many positions in the oil field. He started working in the field as a ruf nek and worked all parts of the business. JB eventually owned his own rig and oil field companies. JB was active in the oil field until near the end of his life. JB was also passionate about roping, flying and music. JB was an experienced pilot who even had is own airport. He was talented musician who loved to make music. JB was influential to many young musicians as they learned themselves. JB was happily married to Norma Jean for over 70 years. The two raised four children. JB took great pride in being a father, passing on his hard work ethic and his passion for the Lord. JB was strong in his faith and love of Jesus Christ. He was a long-time member of the First Holiness Church of Prague and to Paden Holiness Church. JB was preceded in death by his parents, John Barnabas and Pearl White; two brothers, Adrian White and Boyd White; son-in-law, Carl Case; grandson Donovan Davenport; granddaughter, Monica White and father and mother-in-law, Oliver and Mary York. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Norma Jean White; children, Sherrie Case, Joy Hlavaty and her husband Jim, Terry White and his wife Diane and Monty White and his wife Mickey; grandchildren, Robin Bullard and her husband Curtis, Ronda James and her husband James, Kelly Case and his wife Charity, John Davenport, Brandon Davenport, Kylie Teape and her husband Trey, Spencer white and his wife Elise, Starsky White and his wife Angelica and BJ Salisbury. He is also surived by twenty-eight great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren. A Celebration of JB’s life is schedule for December 26, 2019 at 1:30 PM. The service will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague, with Pastor Bryan Logan officiating. In lieu of sending flowers, the family has asked that donations be made the Paden Fire Dept.
