Clifford Kessler, long-time, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on January 2, 1927, in Davenport, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 26, 2004, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 77 years. Clifford was the son of Farry E. and Bessie E. Holland Kessler. He served in the United States Army during WWII. Clifford married Noema Flanagan on October 2, 1983, in Chandler, Oklahoma. He was a retired welder and avid golfer. Clifford attended the Chandler Southern Baptist Church. His parents, four brothers and one granddaughter preceded Clifford in death. Survivors include: Wife: Noema of the Home: Three daughters & sons-in-law: Angela & Don Bridge of Chandler, OK; Debbie & Gary Crews of Chandler, OK; Nancy Nawrocki of Austin, TX: Two step-daughters & sons-in-law: Shirley & Marvin Applewhite of Mineola, TX; Jo & Joe Hughes of Dallas, TX: Two sisters & brother-in-law: Toni & Harry Dugan of Encino, CA; Fern Sims of Chandler, OK: 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren: Other relatives & many friends. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, or the Chandler Southern Baptist Church Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 30, 2004, at the Chandler Southern Baptist Church, with Rev. Joe Hughes and Rev. Thom Chappelle officiating. Burial will follow at the New Zion Cemetery, in Chandler.
