Claude O. Coleman was born on October 30, 1918, in Keokuk, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, December 16, 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 93. Claude, the son of Nelson O. and Louise Francis (Hamilton) Coleman, was a resident of Paden. He married Mayme Nolan on August 3, 1947, in Prague, Oklahoma. Claude proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II which included 31 months in the Panama Canal Zone. He retired from Beech Aircraft where he was an accountant and was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Claude was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mayme Coleman of the home; son, Keith Coleman of Newcastle; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and David Rahn of Texas; and sister, Doris Wolfe of Moore. A Wake Service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 7:30 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home with Father Price Oswalt officiating. A Mass of Christiam Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 10:00 AM, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague with Rev. Adrian Vorderlandwehr, OSB, officiating. Interment will follow at the Paden Cemetery in Paden.
