Clarissa Marie Melton

Clarissa Marie Melton was born on January 1, 1941 in Edmond, OK and departed this life on Monday, November 4, 2019 in Stroud, OK at the age of 78. Clarissa was born to William B. Sr and Kathryne Esther (Ullery) Melton. She was a graduate of Kendrick High School. Clarissa worked for many years and retired from the insurance and billing department at Stroud Hospital. Then she went to work for some time as the secretary for attorney Danny Beltz. She attended and loved her church family at Stroud Christian Church. Clarissa really enjoyed collecting seashells. She also really loved to garden and watch her flowers grow and getting to watch the birds equally enjoy her flowers. Clarissa also very dearly loved her family. Clarissa was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryne and William B. Melton Sr and husband, Billy Ray Henshaw. Clarissa is survived by her son, David Henshaw of Oklahoma City, one brother W.B. Melton Jr and wife Nancy of Kendrick, two grandchildren Morgan Smith and Garrett Henshaw, two great grandchildren Gracie and Fenley Smith, nieces Lisa Vail and Brigette Melton of Kendrick, nephews Brenton Melton of Kendrick and Brian Melton of Stroud, and other family and many friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Stroud Christian Church in Stroud, OK officiated by Rev. Will Fine. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
