Clara Ellen Hiemer

Clara Ellen Hiemer was born near Sparks, Oklahoma, on October 2, 1919, and departed this life in Prague on January 9, 2008. She was 88 years of age. Clara was the daughter of James Ledford and Iva Mae Faughn Neighbors. She was a homemaker and a member of the Arlington Methodist Church. Her hobbies included gardening, quilting and reading. Clara was married to Glen Hiemer on December 12, 1938. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1999. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Rosalie Henderson and Marilyn Munson, one son-in-law, Jimmie Henderson, four brothers, John Neighbors, Raymond Neighbors, Millard Neighbors and George Neighbors, one sister, Ann Logan, two grandsons and one great-grandson. Survivors include her daughter & sons-in-law, Carolyn and Keith Smith of Gold Canyon, Arizona, and Roy Munson, Stroud; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Floyd and Dorothy Neighbors, Grand Junction, Colorado, C.D. “Bud” Neighbors, Edmond, Earl and Lorena Neighbors, Edmond, Edgar and Joan Neighbors, Enid; sister, Vera “Jackie” McCall, Edmond; grandchildren, Darin Henderson, Edmond, Lisa Dunham, Pacific Grove, CA, Allen Munson, Sallisaw, Wendell Munson, Stroud, Rhonda Munson, Pacific Grove, CA, Kelly Swetich, Ft. Collins, CO, Brian Swetich, Westminster, CO; and 11 Great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 12, 2008, at 2:00 P.M., at Kellerby Cemetery with Rev. Sharon Capron officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.
