Cheryl Lynn Griffith

Cheryl Lynn Griffith was born on September 20, 1965, in Sacramento, California, and departed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2011, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 45. Cheryl, the daughter of Johnny Andrew and Victoria Lynn (Johnson) Gammill, was a resident of Prague most of her life. She graduated from Prague High School with the class of 1983 and received an Associate's Degree from Seminole State. Cheryl worked as a restorative nurse. She married Roger W. Griffith on February 1, 1992 in Prague. Cheryl was a member of the First Baptist Church. Cheryl loved her family and will be missed by all. Her maternal grandparents, Ralph Johnson and Roslyn Sears preceded Cheryl in death. Survivors include her husband, Roger Griffith of the home; parents, Johnny and Vickie Gammill of Tulsa; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathon and Amanda Gammill of Tulsa; daughter Felisha Griffith of Prague; granddaughters, Sarah Lynch-Gammill, Marissa Gammill; grandparents, Margret and Sherman Clonts of Paden, Paul Sears of Elk Grove, CA, Lillian Johnson of Sacramento, CA; brother, Shawn and Becky Gammill of Tulsa; nieces, Allie, Anna, and Aryn Gammill; numerous other relatives; and many friends. The Griffith family will receive friends on Sunday, September 18, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
